Facebook Alert Data Privacy

Apparently, user security on Facebook may not be as secure as the user might think.

Facebook security, it would seem, may have been circumvented by a few knowledgeable clicks of the mouse. This loophole appears to exist with live chats and pending friend requests of other accounts.

This may not be an issue anymore as it would seem that TechCrunch has informed Facebook of this loophole but the following video reveals the vulnerability of users.

The reason this problem has occured is because Facebook allows you to preview your own privacy settings. However, once in preview mode you can enter the names of your friends and view their private data.

If the security is in place and it is functioning correctly your data is safe. Two questions have to be asked therefore; was the security in place, and was is it functioning correctly?
